Job Overview
The Mortgage Post Closer plays a crucial role in the mortgage lending process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and in compliance with regulations. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Experience with reverse and forward loans including but not limited to COOPS, 1-4 Family and CONDO properties
Handle the receipt and audit of all forward and reverse closing packages
Contact settlement agents, attorneys, and loans officers to obtain necessary documentation for funding loans.
Request wires for fundings
Upload all loans to investors websites for purchase and resolve all conditions
Prepare MERS
Familiar with FHA Connection, UCD requirements
Update post-closing logs
Obtain and review recorded documents
Update loan status in internal systems and maintain detailed records.
Meet funding, shipping, and post-closing deadlines.
