Catering Chef – Catering & Luxury Events

We are seeking a talented and experienced Catering Chef to join our team.
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Control waste by maintaining the correct stock levels and rotation from dry stores and avoid overproduction of food
· Prepare meals and food to meet the specifications of guests in a timely manner
· Ensure, at all times, that all working areas of the kitchen are maintained in a clean & hygienic condition
· Maintain constant quality control of the food and properly measure kitchen ingredients and food portions
· Use of knives, grill, oven, steamer, flat top and warmers in your food preparation
· Ordering and inventory assistance
· Maintain positive & productive working relationships and keep a gracious, friendly & fun demeanor
Qualifications:
· 2-5 years’ experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
· Ability to work under demanding and strenuous situations
· Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high-level attention to detail
· Comprehension to work independently and partner with others to promote a teamwork environment
· Technical proficiency in website management, design software and web analytics tools
· Excellent eye for aesthetic, detail, and luxury presentation
· Reliable, organized, and able to attend occasional events
· Basic photo/video editing skills
· Passion for events, hospitality, and high-end experiences

Position Compensation:
· $21/hour to start with potential to grow into a salaried position
· After 90-day probationary period:
