American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Burn ICU travel assignment requiring at least 2 years of experience and active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications for night shift coverage.

Work in a Burn ICU unit within a hospital setting
-
Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts)
-
Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week

Patient ratio of 1:2

Common procedures and responsibilities include wound care, pain management, line placement, and assisting with intubation

Charting is performed using Epic (experience preferred)
-
Floating is required
-
Every other weekend (EOW) requirement

Active RN license (Oklahoma state or Compact) required

Current certifications required and must be in hand: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
-
Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required

Prior travel nursing experience required

Epic charting experience preferred

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler

No more than 3 days of RTO will be automatically approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
