What you’ll do:
- Earn your CDA for FREE through our online program!
- Implement KCE’s curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
- Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn while following coronavirus health and safety measures and more.
- Partner and communicate with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
- Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
What you'll need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Available Monday to Friday (no weekends!)
- Experience working with children in a childcare environment

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and promote early childhood learning.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Provide individualized support to students, ensuring their emotional and educational needs are met.
- Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication and collaboration.
- Maintain classroom organization, including managing supplies and materials effectively.
- Conduct regular assessments of student development in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience in classroom management, behavior management, and tutoring is highly desirable.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities that promote child welfare and learning outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and the community.
- Previous experience in daycare or similar settings is a plus.
