Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and leading a team of lumpers, operators, and warehouse staff. You must have a strong understanding of warehouse processes, equipment, and productivity-based workflows. You will work closely with upper management and team leads to maintain high operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily unloading operations and ensure production goals are met.
- Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, including lumpers, pickers, forklift operators, and reach truck drivers.
- Train and mentor employees on proper techniques and company procedures.
- Monitor MOD system performance and ensure accurate tracking of work.
- Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Communicate with upper management regarding staffing, performance, and operational needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may impact workflow and efficiency.
Requirements:
- Strong warehouse experience, preferably in unloading and container operations.
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing operational needs.
