- Middle School 10:30-1:30 pm

- Curtisville Primary 10:45-1:20 pm
Pay rate is $15.00/hr. Starting ASAP for the rest of the school year.

Job Summary
A Recess Monitor plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and supportive environment for students during outdoor/indoor recess. This position involves supervising students during various activities, ensuring their well-being, and assisting in their educational development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in settings that require special education knowledge or childcare experience. This candidate will also monitor in the lunch cafe.
Duties
- Supervise students during recess/cafe activities to ensure safety and compliance with school policies.
- Communicate effectively with students to provide guidance and support.
- Provide first aid as needed and maintain a safe environment for all students.

Skills
- Strong background in childcare or education is preferred.
- Experience working with students of varying ages and abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, and staff.
- Ability to manage conflicts calmly and effectively.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support positive student interactions.
- First aid certification is a plus, ensuring readiness for any emergencies that may arise.
