Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and dependable Restaurant Shift Leader to oversee daily operations during their assigned shifts. In this role, you will be the key person ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction, and leading our hospitality team with enthusiasm. The ideal candidate is passionate about food and hospitality, experienced in managing fast-paced environments, and ready to motivate and support staff to deliver outstanding service every day.
Responsibilities
- Supervise restaurant operations during your shift, ensuring efficient service and adherence to company standards.
- Lead, motivate, and train team members to provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices to ensure quality and compliance with health regulations.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
- Control inventory levels, assist with stock rotation, and report shortages or discrepancies promptly.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Assist with shift scheduling, staff training, and conducting interviews for new team members as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management, with a background in food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Experience in supervising teams within a hospitality or restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with food safety management, inventory control, and food handling procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively and foster teamwork.
- Background in managing hospitality teams with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Prior experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is a plus; barista or catering experience is beneficial too.
