Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift
Taconic, a global leader in the manufacturing of PTFE coated fiberglass fabric, belts and tapes, is seeking an Engineering Technician for our Corporate office in Petersburgh, NY to coat and test engineering materials. Write reports summarizing test results. Communicates the results of experiments to the engineering staff. May support production by advising how to solve problems. This is a 2nd shift position.
Associate’s degree or equivalent experience. Three years of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Must have strong writing skills with the ability to compose Engineering reports using MS Word and Excel. Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities, communicate effectively and maintain effective working relationships with managers and production operators. Should have the ability to solve problems using scientific methods. Ability to work independently and as a team member in completing daily tasks and assignments. Pay range - $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
