Beach Sales is Boston's favorite family-owned and operated, independent Appliance Dealer on Boston’s North Shore since 1947. We are looking for an experienced Home Appliance Warehouse Associate to join our thriving, busy team. Experience required.
The Warehouse Associate oversees operations of receiving ,stocking, and distribution of all inbound and outbound product, as well as all other day to day tasks while following established company policies and procedures
Key Responsibilities:
· Implement and supervise assigned delivery activities includingthe preparation of delivery loads and planned delivery routes
- Assist with merchandise installations and/or returns
- Responsible for unloading, installing, and checking appliances and store equipment
- Lead team of warehouse staff including setting daily priorities and ensuring safety and quality protocols are followed
- Uphold the upkeep and standard maintenance of warehouse delivery vehicles
- Qualifications:
- Knowledge of product flow within a distribution environment
- Ability to carry out oral and written instructions and communicate effectively and professionally
- Computer skills and knowledge required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Minimum High School diploma or GED preferred
- Valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Previous experience in the receiving, storage and customer distribution of product required, managing inventory, customer service and computer skills
- Work Environment/Physical Demand
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a normal working warehouse environment
- Duties of this job will require, but are not limited to lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling of objects weighing a minimum of 75+lbs.
