At Energy Masters, we’re a growing HERS testing company serving HVAC contractors, builders, and homeowners across Southern California. We’re looking for a HERS Testing Technician who’s dependable, self-motivated, and enjoys a mix of travel, independence, and technical work.
$500 Sign Up Bonus if you are already certified & after 3 months of employment!
What You’ll Do
- Perform HERS testing and verification for residential and commercial HVAC systems and new construction homes
- Conduct field inspections, duct testing, airflow measurements, and energy-efficiency verifications
- Communicate professionally with contractors, builders, and homeowners
- Accurately submit reports using mobile/tablet software
- Maintain tools and equipment in excellent condition

Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Must have a working vehicle and be willing to drive within a 60-70 mile radius of your home.
- Previous experience in HVAC, energy testing, or construction (preferred, not required)
- HERS Rater or Rater Assistant certification (preferred — we’ll help you get certified)
- Comfortable using mobile or tablet apps for reporting
- Detail-oriented, punctual, and organized
