At Accel, we manufacture high-performance conductors used in the aerospace, medical, telecommunications, and other demanding industries where quality is critical. Our electroplating process is at the heart of what we do, and we're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Electroplating Operator to help produce world-class products while learning and growing within an innovative manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
- Operate and monitor state-of-the-art electroplating equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production.
- Monitor plating process parameters including current, voltage, temperature, solution chemistry, line speed, and coating thickness.
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks to verify products meet customer and industry specifications.
- Record production data and process measurements accurately while maintaining detailed documentation.
- Perform solution additions, chemical adjustments, and routine bath maintenance following established procedures.
- Troubleshoot minor process issues and communicate abnormalities quickly to supervisors and engineering.
- Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, preventative maintenance, and routine cleaning.
- Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards through 5S and organized work practices.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures while handling chemicals and production equipment.
- Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Production teams to continuously improve processes and product quality.
What We're Looking For
- Manufacturing or industrial production experience preferred.
- Experience in electroplating, chemical processing, wastewater treatment, metal finishing, or wire manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read work instructions, process specifications, and quality documentation.
- Comfortable working with chemicals while following strict safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical education or vocational training is a plus.

Safety Requirements
- Must wear steel-toe safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, and other required PPE.
- Ability to safely handle chemicals and operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and pull throughout an entire shift.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining strict attention to safety and quality.
