Local manufacturing company looking for an experienced Shipping-Receiving Coordinator to join our company. The ideal candidate must have previous experience in shipping or logistics, excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills along with proficient Microsoft Office skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare outgoing shipments and receive incoming shipments
- Check all packing slips against PO’s; turn in any discrepancies to Purchasing.
- Complete shipping paperwork/documents using ERP system
- Tag all parts properly (i.e. part and/or Job #) and deliver to stock areas
- Print Bills of Lading and Packing Slips for Shipments, both incoming & outgoing.
- Wrapping and banding skids, strap down loads to truck bed
- Schedule pick-ups for shipments
- Package UPS shipments and records in UPS log book
- Package RGAs and return to customer
- Pick-up and deliver materials to and from customers & vendors.
- Deburring and staging of parts
- Maintain a clean work area
- General housekeeping of shop
- Undertake any reasonable request made by peers or supervision
Requirements:
- Ability to communicate with customers, reps, and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office preferred; MRP system experience helpful
- Good organization and mechanical skills
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to obtain DOT certification a must (company’s expense)
- Safely operate delivery truck
- Ability to operate forklift/overhead crane (with proper training)
Work Environment
· A large percentage of work time is spent in a factory environment where temperatures fluctuate, and noise levels are moderate to high. Other work environment is outdoors and uncontrolled.
Physical/Mental Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:
· Stand for long periods of time.
· Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
· Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
