Job Overview
Refined Home Care has immediate openings for caregivers in Midland, MI. The position is part-time, with the potential to lead to full-time for the right candidate. Caregivers are responsible for providing care and assistance to individuals in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assistance with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Support patients with mobility aids such as Hoyer lifts as needed
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, laundry, cleaning, and light housekeeping to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
- Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior promptly to healthcare professionals/supervisor
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
Qualifications
- MUST have a driver's license, own vehicle, and proof of insurance, as some individuals may need to be transported to shopping, appointments, etc.
- Availability Sunday-Saturday
- Availability weekends and evenings, if needed
- Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care is essential
- CPR and First Aid certification are preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is desired
- Ability to work independently while following healthcare plans and protocols
- Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
