Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper / Room Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring an outstanding experience for every visitor. Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a pristine environment.
- Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain spotless surfaces throughout the hotel.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas like hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other shared spaces.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic environment for guests and staff.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to management promptly.
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs efficiently.
- Adhere to all hotel policies related to sanitation, safety, and customer service standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care, industrial cleaning methods, and janitorial practices is advantageous.
- Experience working in hospitality environments or with janitorial management enhances your ability to excel in this role.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills is essential for maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
