Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Pediatrician to provide comprehensive healthcare services to infants, children, and adolescents. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pediatric medicine, with expertise in patient assessment, diagnosis ,differential diagnosis medical procedures, and sometimes clinical research. The Pediatrician will be instrumental in promoting health, preventing illness, and managing acute and chronic conditions across diverse pediatric populations.
Duties
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of pediatric patients, including vital signs, medical history intake, and diagnostic evaluation.
- Develop individualized treatment plans encompassing medication administration, immunizations, and health coaching tailored to patient needs.
- Perform minor procedures such as circumsion , tongue tie and others
- Manage and participate in triage to prioritize urgent care type needs within the clinic or hospital setting.
- Utilize EMR systems like Epic and eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation of medical records, coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and data collection.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on clinical trials, research initiatives, and public health programs to advance pediatric care standards.
- Provide outpatient services including telehealth consultations, home care guidance, and outpatient follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and aseptic techniques during all patient interactions to maintain confidentiality and safety.
Experience
- Proven experience in pediatric primary care or hospital medicine within a clinical or teaching hospital environment.
- Extensive knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology related to pediatrics, and familiarity with CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Experience managing diverse cases including infectious disease care, asthma and Adhd as it pertains to our pediatric patients
- Background in utilizing EMR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks for efficient data management and documentation.

Pay: From $160,000.00 per year
