Measure Technician / Warehouse Coordinator

Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour DOE
Position Overview
Alliance Flooring Services is seeking a dependable and motivated Measure Technician / Warehouse Coordinator to support our Tri-Cities branch. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of field work, warehouse operations, and team support. You will play a critical role in ensuring our projects are measured accurately, materials are organized and available, and installers have what they need to succeed.
Responsibilities
Measure Technician
- Conduct residential and commercial flooring measurements.
- Capture site photos, project notes, and installation conditions.
- Identify potential challenges and communicate findings to sales and operations teams.
- Utilize company software and mobile applications to complete measurements and documentation.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service during site visits.
Warehouse Operations
- Receive, organize, and stage flooring materials for scheduled installations.
- Load and unload materials and deliveries.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory management.
- Prepare installer materials, paperwork, and job packets.
- Coordinate material transfers and returns as needed.
Operational Support
- Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams.
- Assist with material shortage investigations and inventory discrepancies.
- Support quality control and warehouse improvement initiatives.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and computers.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Experience
- Flooring, construction, warehouse, or inventory experience.
- Experience using measuring tools and reading floor plans.
- Forklift experience (preferred but not required).
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
