Overview:
We’re looking for a compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our Nevada-based outpatient behavioral health team. In this role, you’ll provide evidence-based care to individuals and families across the lifespan through assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing psychotherapy.
You’ll support clients navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and other emotional or behavioral health concerns. We value a warm, client-centered approach, cultural sensitivity, and strong therapeutic relationships. You’ll also partner with our clinical and administrative teams to support continuity of care, timely documentation, and compliance with Nevada Medicaid and insurance requirements.
What you’ll do:
- Complete biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and risk screenings to understand client needs.
- Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and families using modalities that match your clinical strengths.
- Develop measurable, client-centered treatment plans and update them regularly.
- Respond to urgent mental health needs and support safety planning when needed.
- Maintain accurate, timely notes, assessments, and treatment updates.
- Collaborate with internal staff, community partners, and referring providers to support whole-person care.
- Help clients connect with community resources, social services, and supportive programs.
What we’re looking for:
- Active Nevada license: LMFT, LCPC, MFT-I, or CPC-I.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including trauma-affected individuals.
- Strong communication skills, healthy professional boundaries, and a client-centered style.
- Organized, audit-ready documentation habits.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.
