Role
The Special Events Program Director will collaborate with the Special Events administrative director for each location to plan and facilitate the following events:
- Schools out camps
- In schools outreach program
- Allstar meets
- Parents’ Night Out
- Birthday parties
The Program Director role differs from the administrative director role in that the Program Director focuses specifically on the activities- planning safe fun activities and leading with enthusiasm as needed, whereas the administrative director’s focus is on the logistical needs of each event (i.e. schedule, staffing, clerical needs etc…).
Expectations
Schools out camps
- Plan safe, fun activities for the following school's out camps
- Fall Break
- Winter Break
- Spring Break
- Summer Break
- Serve as lead coach for Murfreesboro school's out camps
- Train new camp coaches as needed
In schools outreach program
- Deliver (or coordinate with admin director to schedule someone else to deliver) equipment to the school on Monday morning and pick up on Friday afternoon
- Coach in school program as needed
- You can schedule other coaches in your place or work these hours as desired - however if no one else is available you will coach at the school
Allstar meets
- MC/lead activities for the following competitions
- Dec (1 weekend)
- Feb (1 weekend)
- April (1 weekend and held offsite)
Parents’ Night Out
- Plan safe, fun activities for Parents’ Night Out at both locations
- You can delegate the lead coach role for PNO however if no one else is available you will lead PNO
Birthday parties
- Plan safe, fun activities for birthday parties at both locations
- Administrative director will staff parties - if you would like to work parties let them know
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
