LSS Financial Counseling delivers financial wellbeing services to employers, organizations, and financial institutions through its Financial Choice program. This role is responsible for expanding program reach by developing new partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and increasing participation.
The Business and Community Partnerships Manager is a results-driven professional who combines strong sales ability with a passion for financial wellness. This position requires excellent presentation skills, the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, and a creative approach to partnership development and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Partnership Development
- Identify, develop, and secure new partnerships with employers and community organizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing partners
- Develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities through outreach, networking, and referrals
- Represent the organization at events and meetings to promote services and generate leads
Presentation and Financial Education
- Deliver clear, engaging presentations to diverse audiences (in-person and virtual)
- Communicate financial wellness concepts in an accessible and compelling manner
- Facilitate workshops using effective presentation techniques and technology
Collaboration and Strategy
- Partner with internal teams to support onboarding, implementation, and service delivery
- Share insights from partners to inform program improvements and strategy
- Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
Performance and Innovation
- Meet or exceed partnership and revenue goals
- Track activities and outcomes using CRM tools and data
- Apply creative approaches to outreach, presentations, and partnership growth
- Use data, trends, and feedback to continuously refine strategies
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in financial services, insurance, employee benefits, or related sectors.
- Strong understanding of financial choice products and the ability to communicate their value effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills.
