A contract position is available for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Stamford, CT. This role is based within a school setting, providing essential speech and language therapy services to students.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to educational planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children and multidisciplinary teams.
