Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hard working candidate to join our team as a Produce Merchandiser, you will be responsible for our produce control. Your excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to the success of our produce department.
Schedule:
6am-10am days off Wednesday and Sunday
Responsibilities:
- Stock and replenish produce displays, ensuring items are properly rotated
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the produce department
- Assist customers in selecting high-quality produce items and provide information about product availability, pricing, and preparation
- Receive and inspect incoming produce shipments, checking for quality and freshness
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management regarding ordering needs and assist in restocking as needed
- Follow proper food safety protocols to ensure the safety and integrity of all produce items
- Create visually appealing displays to attract customers
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation procedures
Skills:
-Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and assist customers effectively
- Knowledge of visual design principles to create attractive product displays
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, but not required
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining cleanliness and organization
- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and customers
