Job Description:
We are currently seeking highly qualified and dedicated Armed Security Guard to join our team for overnight shifts at our apartment complex. The role involves ensuring the safety and security of the premises, residents, and property during the hours of 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM. WEEKENDS are a must!
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol and monitor the premises to ensure the safety and security of residents and property
- Conduct regular security checks of buildings, gates, and surrounding areas
- Enforce rules and regulations for residents and guests to prevent loss or damage to property.
- Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times
- Handle and secure weapons as required by protocol
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Operate and maintain surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required.
- Document all incidents and prepare reports as needed.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Armed Security Guard Certification
- Must have valid firearm certification and the ability to carry a weapon
- Previous security experience preferred, especially in residential or apartment settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations calmly
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
