Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tailored coaching strategies that align with clients’ individual needs and aspirations.
- Provide mentorship and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, promoting skill-building and independence.
- Conduct assessments and interviews to identify clients’ strengths, challenges, and goals.
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and workforce development programs to enhance employability skills.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support plans.
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding new clients by explaining program offerings and expectations clearly.
- Monitor progress regularly, adjusting coaching methods as needed to maximize success outcomes.
Requirements
- Proven experience or strong knowledge of employment & labor law relevant to coaching practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism.
- Background in addiction counseling, social work, teaching, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Skilled in interviewing, mentoring, recruiting, training & development techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate diverse populations.
- Ability to develop trusting relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.
