Job Description Summary
The purpose of this position is to provide theatre support for all Drama productions including building, assembling, and painting scenery properties, cleaning and organizing the theatre support areas and operating and maintaining the theatrical lighting instruments while under direct supervision.
Minimum Qualifications
Current Del Mar College student enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours while employed.
Minimum 18 years of age.
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Ability to climb, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
Physical and mental ability to work between 20-60 feet above the stage floor.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in carpentry, painting or basic construction.
Skilled in the operation and use of power tools.
