Job Overview
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining client and case information in the firm's database. This role supports attorneys and legal staff by ensuring bankruptcy documents are complete, organized, and entered in a timely manner while maintaining strict confidentiality.
Duties
- Enter client information, financial records, and bankruptcy case data into case management software.
- Review documents for accuracy and completeness before data entry.
- Scan, upload, and organize electronic and physical files.
- Maintain confidential client records in compliance with legal and privacy requirements.
- Update case information and track deadlines.
- Assist with preparing and filing bankruptcy forms and supporting documents.
- Verify data, correct errors, and perform quality checks.
- Respond to requests for information from attorneys and staff.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous legal or bankruptcy office experience is a plus but not always required.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
