Immediate Hire ~ Security Guard
We currently have immediate openings for 2nd (3pm -11pm) and 3rd (11pm -7am) Security Guard shifts at a trucking facility in Chicopee, Mass. Must be able to work weekends.
Qualified candidate will be responsible for
- Hourly trailer yard inspections (every hour on the hour)
- Trailer reefer temperature verification and documentation
- Reporting temperature exceptions immediately
- Building and perimeter patrols
- Driver assistance and support with future digital check-in processes
- Visitor and contractor monitoring after hours
- Incident, maintenance, and daily activity reporting through TrackTik
- First shift coverage for vacations and call-outs as needed
- Clear escalation procedures for operational, maintenance, and emergency situations
- detecting any insubordinate behavior, enforcing policies and procedures, and acting as the on-call officer for employees and clients.
The ideal candidate must be well-trained in supervisory duties and dealing with clients and employees.
Requirements
- High School diploma
- Driver’s License valid for MA
- Reliable Transportation
- Smart Phone that is active and a reliable number and voice mail set up
- Ability to use Smart Phone App
Skills Desired, Willing to Obtain Certifications as Needed:
- Proven experience as security officer or guard
- Excellent management and supervisory skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems depending on location working

Pay: $15.50 - $17.00 per hour
