Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Full-Time Preschool Teacher with a preference for bilingual Mandarin/English speakers to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development across various domains including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children.
- Manage daily classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions and engaging learning experiences for toddlers and preschoolers.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through regular updates and meetings.
- Apply behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and address challenges with patience and consistency.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s development, attendance, and assessments in compliance with licensing regulations.
- Follow mandated reporting laws to ensure child safety and welfare at all times.
- Incorporate bilingual instruction in Mandarin and English to enhance language development and cultural awareness among students.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed diligently by maintaining a clean, organized classroom environment equipped with necessary first aid supplies; hold current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan special activities, field trips, and events that enrich the educational experience.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development stages, and preschool curriculum development.
- Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings; familiarity with toddler care is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in classroom management strategies that foster a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within the educational community.
- Ability to adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs including special education or early intervention programs.
- Knowledge of childhood development assessments, standardized testing procedures, and literacy education techniques.
- Experience teaching physical education or incorporating movement-based activities into daily routines is a plus.
- Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior constructively while promoting social-emotional learning.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in early childhood education topics such as behavior management, curriculum innovation, or bilingual instruction.

Pay: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour
