American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring L&D and mother/baby experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
-
Unit features 16 LDRP rooms, a C-section Suite and PACU, and a 4-bed Special Care Nursery
-
Patient population includes laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns, including infants who may experience withdrawal symptoms and late preterm infants
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00

Closed specialty unit — travelers are not expected to float outside of the Family Center

Epic EMR in use
-
Active NC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP

L&D and mother/baby nursing experience required

Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Unit is actively implementing evidence-based best practices and quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with the State of NC and other hospitals nationwide

Support staff includes a preadmit nurse, discharge planner/case manager, maternity navigator, unit educator, and lactation consultant
