Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
- Drive refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment as needed to deliver freight efficiently
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods
- Manage route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while maintaining fuel efficiency and safety standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Secure loads properly for transport, including roll-off trucks or dump trucks when applicable
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered during routes
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and experience operating manual transmission trucks
- Proven truck driving experience with a focus on freight delivery, including route driving in regional areas
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and specialized equipment such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks is preferred
- Experience with load & unload procedures and forklift operation is a plus
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks related to freight handling and vehicle inspections
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and compliance with DOT regulations
- Excellent navigation skills and the ability to follow detailed delivery routes efficiently

Pay: $1,600.00 - $2,100.00 per week
