Job Summary -
We are looking for a motivated and energetic Shift Leader to join our convenience store team. In this role, you'll be the go-to person during your shift, ensuring smooth daily operations, delivering excellent customer service, and leading the team to success. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily store operations during your shift, including opening and closing procedures.
- Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain store standards.
- Manage cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to ensure accurate transactions.
- Assist with food preparation, stocking shelves, and maintaining cleanliness in food and beverage areas.
- Control inventory levels by monitoring stock, conducting regular audits, and reporting shortages or discrepancies.
- Train new staff on store procedures, food safety practices, and customer service expectations.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly desirable.
- Management or supervisory experience within retail or hospitality settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Background in food preparation, food safety management, or culinary experience is advantageous.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage shifts effectively, and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis will support success in this role.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on training & development of staff members.
