Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service throughout their shopping experience.
- Accurately process transactions using the cash register and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with precision and care.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, sales promotions, and product demonstrations.
- Maintain an organized checkout area, ensuring it is clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Perform retail math calculations to ensure accurate pricing and change handling.
- Collaborate with team members to restock shelves and maintain inventory levels.
- Address customer concerns or complaints in a professional manner, escalating issues as necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required.
- Strong cash handling skills with experience operating cash registers or POS systems.
- Basic knowledge of retail math for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to perform product demos effectively to enhance customer engagement.
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions.
