Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Dance Teacher to inspire students. Specifically looking for 3-4 and 5-6 year old tap/ballet combo, teen Beginner tap/Jazz, 9-11 Advanced Beginner Tap/Jazz, Advanced Teen Hip Hop, Saturday and Sunday morning 3-4 and 5-6 year Tap/Ballet Combos. Some days have more than one class opening.
We need a dedicated weekly instructor who has a desire to be part of an amazing team of Teachers.
Duties
- Create a curriculum appropriate for age and levels
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
- Plan and execute choreography for winter showcase and recital.
- Proven experience teaching dance at the recreational level.
- Strong background in technique, choreography, and dance instruction.
- Experience working with children with special needs or in special education settings is a plus
