Location: Northeast Houston (near Beltway 8 & 59N) — This is an on‑site position; not remote.
Schedule: Monday–Friday (40 to 50 hour work week).

ACE Fabricators, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Project Management Department while managing assigned structural steel projects from award through closeout.
This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects while supporting and mentoring other Project Managers.
Responsibilities
- Manage structural steel projects from contract award through project closeout.
- Lead, mentor, and support the Project Management team.
- Assign and balance project workloads among Project Managers.
- Assist with resolving project challenges, schedule conflicts, customer concerns, and change order issues.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for customer complaints and complex project matters.
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, billing, and overall performance.
- Review contracts, purchase orders, scopes of work, and project award documents for accuracy.
- Work closely with detailing, purchasing, production, shipping, erection, and field personnel.
- Support collections, payment approvals, and resolution of outstanding receivables.
- Identify project risks and develop practical solutions to minimize impacts.
- Promote company procedures, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in management meetings and contribute to operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Previous Project Management experience in structural steel fabrication, steel erection, construction, or a related industry.
- Must be able to read and interpret contract documents, architectural drawings, structural plans, and detailed fabrication drawings.
- Strong leadership and team development abilities.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience reviewing contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
- Proficiency with the computer; including Microsoft Office.
