Duties
- Safely transport prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests’ tables, ensuring presentation and temperature are maintained.
- Verify orders for accuracy before delivery, collaborating with kitchen staff to resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation procedures in all food handling and delivery areas to meet health standards.
- Assist servers by delivering food efficiently, allowing them to focus on guest interactions and service excellence.
- Support the restaurant’s food safety management practices by adhering to proper handling and storage protocols.
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to confirm orders and update status as needed during service.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service flow.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety regulations is highly valued.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or dishes for extended periods comfortably.
- Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn new technology tools used in restaurant operations.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
