This is an office-based position that supports our production, engineering, and quality teams. You will be responsible for entering production information into our ERP system (Global Shop Solutions), preparing manufacturing documentation, creating bubble drawings for inspection, and ensuring work orders are accurate before they are released to the shop.
This position offers excellent opportunities to learn CNC manufacturing, production planning, quality systems, and ERP software.
Responsibilities
- Enter work orders, BOMs, and routing information into Global Shop Solutions ERP.
- Prepare production travelers and manufacturing documents.
- Create bubble drawings from engineering prints for inspection and manufacturing.
- Support scheduling and production planning activities.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, shipping and quality departments.
- Maintain electronic document control and revision history.
- Update production status in the ERP system.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and administrative projects.
- Help maintain ISO 9001 documentation and records.
- Perform other production support tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
- Associate degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience.
- Strong computer skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with engineering drawings.
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes.
Preferred
- Experience with ERP systems (Global Shop Solutions is a plus).
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or PDF markup software.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
