We are looking an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our prep and assembly team in the production of our delicious healthy prepared meals. This position requires good communication skills between all departments. This job will manage the kitchen operations, oversee food production, and ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards in an efficient manner.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations and maintain efficient workflow.
- Oversee food preparation ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards.
- Managing prep quantities to minimize waste levels.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Maintain organization of the kitchen area.
- Schedule employee reviews to discuss good performance or areas to improve.
Skills
- Strong communication and math skills.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and motivation.
- Managing inventory(FIFO) .
- Knowledge of Gluten free, dairy free and sugar free a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
