Fairview Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our Activities team part-time.
Our Activities team helps keep residents active, engaged, connected, and having fun. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people and isn't afraid to jump into a game, craft, celebration, outing, or whatever else the day brings.
Schedule:
- Part-time
- 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with group and individual resident activities
- Helping lead games, crafts, music, social programs, and special events
- Encouraging and assisting residents with participation
- Preparing activity areas and supplies
- Escorting residents to and from programs
- Providing companionship and one-on-one engagement
- Working with the Activities team to create meaningful and enjoyable experiences
Requirements:
- Friendly, positive, and dependable
- Enjoys working with seniors
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Creative, patient, and team-oriented
- Previous activities or senior living experience is helpful, but not required
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
