Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students in their educational journey. This role involves working closely with teachers and students in a early education setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children ensuring that each student receives the guidance and support they need to thrive academically and socially.
Duties
- Assist the teacher with classroom activities and instruction in a positive and engaging manner
- Support students with special education needs through individualized or small group assistance
- Help reinforce positive classroom behavior and routines
- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students needing additional help
- Maintain open and respectful communication with the teacher and other staff members
- Supervise students during non-classroom times such as playtime, lunch, and transitions to ensure safety and active engagement
- Participate in bus duty to help ensure safe arrival and dismissal of students
