Position Summary
A successful Electronics Technician at APELC will collaborate closely with engineers, machinists, and other technicians to fabricate, assemble, and test complex electronic and mechanical systems at APELC. The Technician must work well within a team but must be productive and effective with minimal supervision. The technician will work from engineering drawings, schematics, technical documents and verbal direction. The Technician will travel occasionally to install, test, or maintain electronic or mechanical systems as needed.
- Full time position, Mon-Fri with flexible hours, but must include 9AM-3:30PM core block

Requirements
- US citizen
- Experience populating printed circuit boards
- Wire harness design experience
- Familiarity building, testing, and troubleshooting basic electronic circuits
- Ability to organize and work multiple projects concurrently
- High school diploma/GED or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ideal Competencies
- Applicable technical training/certifications
- Electronic diagnostic tool experience (e.g. oscilloscope, multi-meter, LCR meter)
- High Attention to detail and safety
- Perform high level electro-mechanical assembly, repair, and testing
- Hands-on work with variety of tools in lab/shop environment
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs
- Basic machining and fabrication skills
- High-voltage experience
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC design and testing practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
