Senior Property Accounting Manager
$140k - $160k + Bonus

Prestigious high powered Real Estate-Property Management/Investment conglomerate now seeks degreed entrepreneur (position located in Queens, NY) with 5+ years hands on, full cycle Property Accounting for diverse residential real estate portfolio. (Must have Yardi). Responsible for general accounting, GAAP, P&L, reporting, month-end close, analytical as well as production of financial statements. Responsible for bank reconciliations, journal entries, expense accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintenance of supporting workpapers.' Responsible for all accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Monitor cash and ensure sufficient liquidity for properties. Position will also involve budget, strategic planning and forecasting as well as variance analysis. Prepare annual CAM, Tax, and Insurance reconciliations based on tenant leases. Responsible for analyzing both revenue and expenses. Act as troubleshooter and solutions/efficiency expert. Enter tenant receipts, monitor outstanding receivables and work with property managers to resolve any open balances. Involved in various company growth initiatives by maintaining accurate books and records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Work closely with Controller/CFO and investment team. Strong ability to analyze data and desire to improve processes. Review rent roll to ensure accuracy. Prepare and file monthly sales tax reporting. Work with property managers to review variance explanations and monthly accruals. Participate in special projects as it relates to real estate investment portfolio. Any experience producing 1099's and K-1's a plus. Any payroll experience also a plus Must have strong communication, organizational and multitasking skills. Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
