Overview
We are seeking a professional and reliable Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tanker trucks, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. This role requires a strong focus on safety, route efficiency, and timely deliveries across diverse freight types. Prior experience in commercial driving and load & unload operations is highly valued. Duties
- Safely operate trucks with manual transmissions across assigned routes, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Drive tractor-trailers, flatbeds, , tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks as required for different freight types
- Manage route driving schedules to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining safety standards
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status or issues
- Assist with securing freight properly to prevent damage during transit
- Follow all company policies related to driving hours, safety protocols, and vehicle maintenance
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles involving freight transportation
- Familiarity with operating various commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
- Experience with route driving and managing load & unload procedures in a safe and efficient manner
- Open availability according to ELD (electronic logging device)
- Knowledge of manual transmission operation
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type being operated
- Prior experience handling refrigerated trailer loads or tanker trucks is advantageous
