We need a Proven Leader in Commercial Plumbing. You will lead a team of highly skilled trades people on high-visibility commercial projects that keep businesses running and buildings safe. Your work won’t just manage pipelines, you will help build the pipeline of future business, directly impacting on the growth and success of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and implement departmental goals aligned with company objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop project managers, estimators, foremen, and field personnel.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
Operations Management
- Oversee all plumbing projects from pre-construction through closeout.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with operations team on staffing levels, resource allocation, and workforce planning.
- Review project schedules, manpower projections, and productivity metrics.
Financial Oversight
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and P&L performance.
- Monitor job costs, labor productivity, and material expenditures.
- Participate in bid review, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins and reduce costs.
Estimating & Preconstruction
- Collaborate with estimating team on major bids and proposals.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and scope requirements.
- Support value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.
Client & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, general contractors, and vendors.
- Support business development efforts and identify new project opportunities.
- Serve as an escalation point for client concerns and project issues.
What Makes You a Perfect Fit
- Plumbing field experience required
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Ability to read/interpret plans, specifications, and contracts
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism
- Valid Driver’s License
