Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and floor care
- Handle cleaning with appropriate chemical agents, ensuring proper use of safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring sanitation standards are met
- Use cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, buffers, and industrial cleaning tools effectively and safely
- Perform janitorial tasks in public areas and hotel facilities to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols during all cleaning activities
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to linen or equipment transport as needed

SureStay Studio By Best Western Virginia Beach Oceanfront is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. You will ensure our guest rooms and public spaces maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.Responsibilities:
- Clean, dust, polish, and vacuum guest rooms and bathrooms.
- Change bed linens and replace towels.
- Replenish room amenities like soaps, coffee, and tissues.
- Empty trash containers and dispose of waste.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with guests.
- Report any room damages or maintenance issues to management.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of professional housekeeping or cleaning experience required.
- Strong attention to detail and efficiency.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs throughout a shift.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Reliable transportation to our beachfront location.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
