Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and servers
- Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and provide detailed information about menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining areas to uphold high standards of hospitality
- Support serving staff by delivering food and beverages promptly when needed
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about reservations or wait times
- Ensure guest relations are positive by addressing concerns promptly and courteously
Experience
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Square are highly desirable
- Experience in hospitality or hotel guest services is a plus
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a cheerful attitude
- Knowledge of serving procedures and guest relations enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Prior experience with phone etiquette and guest interactions contributes to a seamless guest experience
