Overview
We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Maintenance Specialist to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of a diverse range of equipment and systems within our manufacturing and facilities environment. Duties
- Maintain and repair carts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, stock pickers, turret trucks, sweepers, and forklift attachments
- Repair and maintain battery chargers, batteries and other equipment as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on all lift trucks
- Assist and monitor equipment process parameters to perform predictive / preventive maintenance and enter data into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Manintain inventory of spare parts, special need items and tools
- Ability to operate computers and maintenance diagnostics equipment including analog and digital multi-meters, pyrometers, photo-tachometer, etc.
- Diagnose failures, determine parts and material requirements, and perform repairs as required to resume operation on production equipment
- Effectively communicate with peers
- Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, workstations, and facility
- Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, air compressors, fire system
- Weld, cut, design, and repair aluminum and steel structures and devises
- Maintain building maintenance; electrical systems, plumbing, etc.

Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within manufacturing or industrial environments, demonstrating a broad mechanical knowledge base.
- Strong electrical experience including repair of electrical equipment and understanding of schematics for troubleshooting complex systems.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, and electrical equipment repair.
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices including inventory management and procurement processes.
- Experience working with CMMS software for scheduling work orders and tracking maintenance activities.
- Supervisory or leadership experience managing teams or projects in a maintenance setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to welding, electrical work, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general facilities operations.
- Ability to read technical schematics accurately and utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination with team members.
