The Central Illinois Regional Airport Authority, owner and operator of the Central Illinois Regional Airport, is accepting applications for a full-time Airport Maintenance Person within the Airport Maintenance Department. This role is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and professional operation of airport facilities and grounds.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, mowing, landscaping, building maintenance, and snow removal. Applicants must be able to pass a required background check.
The standard work schedule for this position is 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. However, flexibility is required, as the successful candidate may be asked to work alternate shifts, including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours in support of winter operations. This position is also subject to call back for emergency or other non-standard airport events.
The starting hourly rate is $19.75. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and life insurance. Participation in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) is required.
