Position Summary:
The Shipping Supervisor will assist the Operations Manager in overseeing shipping activities and personnel to ensure that products are properly loaded for delivery.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required

3 - 4 years previous warehouse or shipping experience is highly preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensures product handling and delivery practices meet customer expectations

Monitors freight movement using various computer software applications
-
Conducts daily inspections
-
Assess efficiency and performance of shipping activities
-
Enforces operating instructions and safety policies
-
Escalates team issue or conflicts when necessary to management or human resources
-
Covers for Operations Manager during absences
-
Assist in inventory count and allocate space for stock

Performs other duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

Work is usually performed in a warehouse and manufacturing environment

Physical demands of the position are sitting, walking, and lifting

Capable of lifting a minimum of 25 lbs at one time
