We are seeking a talented CNC Machinist with expertise in 5-axis machining to join our client's team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in setting up, operating, and adjusting machines with minimal guidance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Machine Setup & Operation: Efficiently set up and run CNC machining centers.
- Troubleshooting: Address machine adjustments and resolve issues with controllers, machines, and processes.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Utilize blueprints to choose tools, set feeds, and determine speeds for machining.
- Quality Inspection: Use precision hand tools to inspect machined parts for accuracy and quality.
- Workplace Maintenance: Keep work area clean and organized, including tools, equipment, and machines.
- Tool Management: Monitor tool inventory and reorder as needed.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in CNC 5-axis milling setup and operations.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Independence: Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
