Currently Kinetic Staffing Solutions is hiring for a Temporary Part-Time Associate Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant in Spring House PA
POSITION SUMMARY: Core responsibilities will include collaborating with the staff of our customer to perform venipuncture techniques and collect blood and other specimens from normal volunteers to support laboratory procedures used in research (IRB approved, must follow SOP). The candidate will have strong skills using computer software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams. The candidate must have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and have strong team and interpersonal skills.
Expectations:

2. Works under supervision with day-to-day autonomy.
3. Maintains accurate record keeping.
4. Communicates issues to supervisor in a timely manner.
5. Is up to date with the latest methods/techniques pertaining to their functional area.
6. Has a keen eye on functional process and compliance.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs human biological sample collections as outlined in an IRB approved protocol.
2. Utilizes electronic scheduling system to keep track of sample request submissions and clinical trial volunteer information.
3. Administers informed consent forms to all clinical trial volunteers and addresses questions as they arise.
4. Tracks all sample collections in the appropriate specified FDA required tracking logs.
5. Is responsible for data entry, record keeping and records management, and document archiving.
6. Acts as support personnel for general clinical trial administrative duties.
7. Maintains the highest level of confidentiality to ensure anonymity and protect the privacy of the volunteers
8. Maintains First Aid/CPR Certification and position on Spring House First Aid Team.
9. Must maintain 100% compliance to GxP, FDA, EHSS, OSHA, HIPAA, and IRB regulations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES:
Education: Certified phlebotomist orA.A.S. in Medical Technology with 1-2 years of recent phlebotomy experience required.
Experience/Special Skills: First Aid /CPR Certification required. Must be a certified phlebotomist or MLT/MLS with a minimum of 2 years recent phlebotomy experience. ASCP certification is helpful but not necessary. Knowledge of GxP guidelines is helpful but not necessary. The individual should be able to show proof of current certification, documented coursework, or equivalent training and experience in phlebotomy.
