We are looking for Houston based bulk liquid hazmat CDL drivers, with tanker and hazmat endorsement and TWIC card. For regional work.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles such as semi-trucks. Kenworth automatic, Freightlines automatics.
- Transport tankers, liquid bulk chemicals
- Have to have acknowledged on basic unloading with hoses and fittings.
- Follow emergency response procedures for transportation incidents and respond quickly to traffic changes or unexpected situations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips (ELD), and safety checks in accordance with transportation safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with plant personnel using clear English.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (e.g., endorsement for tankers and hazmat).
- Proven experience driving semi-trucks.
- Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, transportation safety regulations, and emergency stop procedures.
